About Me
I'm a self-taught artist, illustrator, and designer living between Hong Kong and London. I've been drawing since I've been able to hold a pen, and reading comics since before I've been able to read.
I'm a regular at various life drawing sessions, life drawing being a core part of my artistic practice. Life drawing has given me a community of like minded artists, and I get a lot of energy from sharing work with other artists. I'm currently focussed on diversifying my drawing skills and drawing comics and telling stories.
I've been working professionally as a web designer and developer for about 20 years, in both large blue chip corporations and small start ups, in various industries. I've got a wide range of deep experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on effective maintainable digital solutions. The whole time I've been doing that, I've been teaching myself to draw.
I started to notice that people were consistently asking me if I was a professional artist at Life Drawing Sessions. I wasn't really sure what it means to be a professional artist or how someone becomes one, but I thought I'd give it a try.

Introduction to Gesture Drawing, NUDD HK - February 2025
Following the success of the January session I was asked by Nude Drink Draw to facilitate a similar session again focussed on gesture drawing.

Introduction to Drawing, Takeda UK Ltd - January 2024
I facilitated a workshop on basic drawing skills, focussed on gesture drawing and form, and how drawing can encourage mindfulness and relaxation. This was an inperson and online session for Takeda UK employees, with 45 attendees.
